The T1.5 lenses will be available in new focal lengths of 18mm, 40mm, 65mm and 135mm later this year.

Zeiss is adding four lenses to its T1.5 Supreme Prime Radiance family: 18mm, 40mm, 65mm and 135mm.

The 18mm and 135mm add telephoto and wide-angle specialties to the seven focal lengths previously released, while the 40mm and 65mm enhance the standard range.

Zeiss Supreme Prime Radiance lenses offer a distinctive look with consistent flares that can be controlled at all times. The Zeiss T* blue coating was developed especially for the lens series to allow users to create this look across all focal lengths without having to sacrifice contrast or light transmission.

“The Supreme Prime Radiance lenses began as a variant and complement to our Supreme Prime lenses and have now evolved into a high-end cine set in their own right,” says Christophe Casenave, who handles the cine portfolio at Zeiss. “Their sophisticated, artistic design has been so well received by the cine community that we are proud to expand the line with four new lenses, offering a comprehensive set of focal lengths for all kinds of artistic demands.”

The new Zeiss Supreme Prime Radiance focal lengths will be available in Q3 2021 as a set of four. Upon their release, it will also be possible to order the previously released set of seven Supreme Prime Radiance lenses or purchase a complete set of all 11 lenses.
