Wooden Camera Releases V-Lock Kit, Cage Adapter
The V-Lock Kit comprises a base station and wedge. The Male Arri Rosette Adapter is compatible with v2 and v3 of the Director’s Monitor Cage.
Wooden Camera has released the V-Lock Base Station and Wedge Kit and the Director’s Monitor Cage Male Arri Rosette Adapter.
The base-station portion of the V-Lock Kit (pictured above) can bolt into a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 hole using the included screws. Set screw can also be installed to prevent twisting. Additionally, the base station has the hole pattern for Arri accessory-mount pins. The base station is also threaded for 1/4-20 and 3/8-16.
The accessory wedge in the V-Lock Kit can also bolt into a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 hole using the included screws, and it is also threaded for 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. The M3 hole pattern is also available for attaching to devices such as the Preston MDR4 Mounting Plate and the Smartphone Clamp.
The Director’s Monitor Cage Male Arri Rosette Adapter (with M6 thumbscrew) replaces the handle assembly on the cage, allowing for accessories that mount via an Arri standard rosette to be used as one of the cage handles. The adapter is compatible with Director’s Monitor Cage v2 and v3.
