Sachtler Launches Aktiv Line
The new fluid heads feature SpeedLevel and SpeedSwap technologies and can be mounted to Flowtech tripods with no bowl required.
Sachtler has introduced the Aktiv series of fluid heads: the Aktiv6, Aktiv8, Aktiv8T and Aktiv10.
The Aktiv6 and Aktiv8 are compatible with all main Sachtler 75mm tripods, with the Aktiv8T available in side load or Touch & Go camera-plate options. The Aktiv10 is a 100mm bowl head with side-load camera plate.
The new heads feature Sachtler’s SpeedLevel technology, which allows the user to quickly release, lock and level the head tightly; an illuminated PrismBubble that is visible from any height or angle; the ability to mount to Flowtech tripods with no bowl clamp required; and the SpeedSwap system, which facilitates quick swaps from a tripod to a slider.
The Sachtler Aktiv fluid head range is priced from $1,525 and can be preordered from Sachtler resellers as a head only or as part of a Flowtech system.
